So apparently I am a blogging failure. It's no lie, folks.
I decided to create a blog last week, and have since forgetten it . Shame, Shame.

So it is the week of the 4th (I love!)
My best friend will be popping out a babe any day (we thought Sat. was the day, but it didn't happen)
and..and..and...I am officially way too old as of a week from Wednesday.

Moral of this story is that there are way too many exciting things going on right now, and I am beyond pissed that I have to work all week. I work for an RV company. All RV factories are shut down this week. I have received 2 whole phone calls today.
This shall be a long week.

OH! So we have been in mega drought mode here in northern Indiana. We are now under a burn notice in our county.Because of this, THERE WILL BE NO FIREWORKS THIS YEAR! Are you kidding me? It's the freaking 4th of July! What do you mean there will be no fireworks?!

OK, so now all of the good things above have been DESTROYED and overshadowed by this devastating blow! Kidding, Kidding.

I am bummed, though. They are one of my very favorite things. No matter how old I get, I still beam up at the sky with an obnoxious smile and oooo and ahhhh at each and every firework like it was the best thing I've ever seen.

I'm easy to please, what can I say?

Some day I will start remembering to take pictures to put on this here blog. All I currently have are a million shots of my cats, which I will spare you from. Although I think they are the cutest things ever, I will not force you to look at my creepy cat lady photos. You're very welcome :)

So I started a blog. Say, what?!?

I have been an avid stalker  reader of other blogs for quite some time now. From the first time I read another blog, I have thought about how wonderful it would be to start one of my own. Then I realized that I'm boring....and that my life reflects that of an 85 year old cat lady. No, really. I'm not joking.

I have two cats, whom I completely adore and talk about like I actually birthed them or something. They are Maine Coons, so they are HUGE and incredibly furry. No really.

That's Brock on the left and Zeppelin on the right. Pretty cute, huh?

I also like to crochet. My closet has been completely overtaken by bags and bags full of left over yarn. And partially finished blankets. I really like to make blankets for weddings, graduations, Christmas and (especially) baby showers.

Oh, baby showers. You want to know my very favorite part of this?? When the baby-momma-to-be opens the blanket, everyone in the room instantly looks at grandma, or whoever else happens to be the oldest person in the room, and gives a united, "Awww." Then when the baby-momma-to-be looks at me and thanks me, everyone gasps and looks around like they have just been bitch slapped with surprise.

"Yes, that is correct. I am 25 years ancient, and I make a mean crocheted blanket. Whatcha gonna do about it?"

Man, I am so lucky that I am so very skilled and talented at such important things in this world. But, hey, at least all of those babies out there are nice and toasty post-womb, right? Right.

So when I'm not snuggling my fur babies, or furiously crocheting my next masterpiece, I am employed as a Sales Coordinator at a local RV manufacturer. Now, if you want to talk about a glorious and intensely rewarding field....don't talk about the RV industry. Just saying. So yea. My job keeps me traveling for a large part of the year. For the most part, it is awesome to get away from my tiny (and riduculously boring) town, but the sad part is that it keeps me away from this cute guy I like to call my boy toy boyfriend.

Yep, that's Micah and I. He's alright I guess :)

I am quite the talker and could go on and on, but I think I'll save some things for future posts.

I know you're all super devastated that I'm not going to continue rambling, but it's for your best interest. Promise.
